Finally, my wedding photo album is finish. I did the lay-out for more than five months but happy to see the fruit of my labor. So I’m posting it here for everybody will have a glimpse of the most important event in my life.

I got a missed call from Cowboy (our Danish friend) yesterday while me and hubby are doing our grocery. I thought he just need someone to serve a cold drink as we opened a retail business (store) in front of our house. I was not able to make a reply and just waited to reach the house. And so I asked him why? and he told me that “CUTIE” or “BOOBA” (our dog) is dead. My heart clobbers and brought me to tears. I can’t believe he is gone. We lost a good and loving friend. He may not be like us human, but he is a member of our family. He keeps us safe night and day. I remember him sitting on our bamboo-made chair waiting us to come home or resting in front of our door waiting for us to leave the house. I will miss you CUTIE. I will never forget you. Thank you and you brought happiness to our family. We love you!

I miss a lot from my over 6 months wedding preparation and my father-in-law’s sudden death. Now, I have enough time to update my Odesk account and apply for more jobs. Well, I’m a bit unlucky because I let my interviews pass and when I get back to it, it was too late. Lesson learned, never let interviews wait for you since there are bunches of applicants eying for the same offer. I just hope I would find more time for this as this will bring me extra income aside from my usual job.

Just now, I checked my emails and read successful stories of online providers. There achievements were all over the world-wide-web making me think that if others can make it, then everybody can. Finger’s cross, I want to make things happen. I’ll try to raise my earnings starting this week and eventually increase every now and then. Wish myself luck. *wink

Bonded at last

At last, as the saying goes in Tagalog, “Sa hinaba-haba man ng prosisyon, sa simbahan din ang tuloy” (No matter how long the procession it takes, it will still end up in the church) I hope I got the right interpretation.
Last January 30, 2011 at 10:00 A.M., Me and Jacklord exchanged I do’s in front of our relatives and friends at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. It was such a momentum event in my life and a dream-come-true.

Though, I felt incomplete because Papang (father-in-law) was not there to witness how handsome “Anggo” (my husband nickname) was He joined God last December 14, 2010 before our original wedding date. We postponed the wedding to pay respect and they say it is a jinx to get married if a member of your family die within the year of your wedding day (Filipino tradition) .So, from December 30, 2010 we moved it to January 30,2010 which is a week after his forty days (40 ) being died. On the brighter side, we know he’s happy that at last he has now 2 daughters and hopefully a grandson or granddaughter to come.

So far, I’m enjoying my married life. I could not ask for more. Adjustments, I only have few since we stayed in one roof for couple of years now. I think my next posts are things that I’m not so happy with. Good luck to me and to hubby then. I’m excited for the years to come.

Trip updates..

I was a bit busy this past few weeks so it’s only now I put some updates to this blog. My trip was great despite my not-so-good health condition. I was able to experience CDOs Whitewater River Rafting famous Adventure. The 3-hour propel ride passing 14 rapids (for beginners) and the scenic view of Cagayan de Oro City and Bukidnon was super fun. If you are looking for some extreme adventure you should visit CDO and try it.

But of course, I didn’t let it missed the Bukidnon’s pride–Longest Zip line in Asia–840 meters long aside from their hectares of pineapple plantation.

Travel

I’m thrilled about my upcoming trip to the Northern Mindanao Region—Cagayan de Oro City (CDO) province of Misamis Oriental. This will be my first time to travel outside Luzon and the first time to ride an airplane. Isn’t that exciting?

Oh well, my mind now is ready-packed with optimism and excitement for the five days and four nights stay outside the Ilocandia Region. I have more than two weeks to prepare but, as early as now and as eager as I am, I have already completed my itinerary. This trip is work-related so I need to slot in my personal agenda. Of course, I won’t let this one-time opportunity misses all the fun that CDO can offer especially to first-timer like me. Speaking of fun, I’ve been googling activities that CDO is famous of. The Whitewater River Rafting, this is rafting down the Cagayan de Oro River with extreme rapids over rocks and boulders. Wow this is awesome! I’ll make sure I won’t go home without even a try. wink*

Love…love…love…

Being in love is the most amazing thing that happened to me. It’s a feeling that no one can ever measure or define. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud (1 Corinthian 13:4), the most popular meaning of love. But, what is LOVE?

I’ve been in a relationship for more than seven years now and been into different circumstances. They say, the longer you stay in a relationship, the harder you retreat or if you’re in the seventh year of your relationship, you’ll not end up together. So forth and so on…. As far as I know, I am totally in love. And, that LOVE brings good and bad things in my life.

Good, because the love I give and I get is genuinely true—inspiring, exciting, unending, and totally bliss. It really feels good when we’re together and it makes the whole thing perfect. No amount of adjectives can illustrate the emotion—LOVE.

However, things turn unwell with our numerous arguments, fights, and squabbles. Normally, it takes a day or two before we start compromising and eventually settle those unending drama (for serious one). I know these are just some of the so-called spicies in our relationships. Quite exasperating, though, it’s always a learning experience for both of us. It just made our relationship stronger.

Bottom line is, love is the greatest feeling in this whole wide universe but learn to discern what’s real from not. To love and be loved is a free choice may this makes you good or bad. And when you decide to love; show it with all of your very true heart may this be accepted or not.

Yes, it’s really confusing though nothing can stop me from this fervour—LOVE…LOVE….LOVE….

Finally, I received a job interview at Odesk. I’m glad that someone showed interest on my profile despite of my two declined applications–still feels good even if it doesn’t mean I got in.

I don’t mind rejections. If I fail once, then, try it again the second time, third, forth, and so on until you succeeded. You feel hopeless—it’s just but normal—but don’t let it affect that combating spirit because if you can’t control your veer, you might not reach the finish line.

Just after a week, good news came. I got the job and I’m so excited about it. Good thing, I met a good friend, who guided and helped me since I’m a starter— I owe him so much— thank you!

Now, I don’t know what to expect. All I’m sure is , I will do my best— Good luck to me!

2010 Election

Who will be the next President of the Republic of the Philippines? Questions that even me can’t wait for an answer.

Television, radio and periodicals dominated by news and ads of aspirant public servants—non-stop propaganda and circus-like campaign just to hit a good rank in the survey. Does this make their way to the top?

Oh, well, I hope their aims are for the betterment of this country not for their pocket-sake.

On Monday, I’m again to exercise my right to vote. This is something remarkable as this is the start of an automated election here in the Philippines. This means voting is computerize. You’ll no longer write the names of the candidates, put in a yellow ballot box and counted manually which takes time to know the results. But with the automation, you are to shade the oval shape beside the name of the candidate you wish to vote, insert it to the machine which count your vote and will give instant result. Isn’t that easy?

I just hope that this mechanism will instigate a change in spite of reports about the possible failure of election, that this was not initiated to manipulate the people’s right to vote.

So, please be HONEST and VOTE WISELY!

Finally, after so many sleepless nights thinking of that exhausting exam—CS-PPT—finger-cross hoping to pass, now, I have more time reading. This is a recent discovered passion after I finished few books like The Secret, Twilight Saga: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn & Midnight Sun (unpublished) and on-going Is he Mr. Right? If only I had realized sooner, I bet I’m a book-worm now.*wink

Reading is a very good mental exercise. You will not just see or know things but you will learn from it.

I hope someone can read this and will recommend a good book to read. Right now, I’m into love stories—kind of relating to some of it.
